 INTRODUCTION
The ATX-2000A is a microprocessor controlled "simplex repeater". The ATX-2000A is designed to interface with any two-way radio with a speaker / mic audio accessory jack. The ATX-2000A will extend the communication range of any two-way radio, by utilizing the "simplex repeating" technique. The ATX-2000A is using "state-of-the-art" solid state storage & microcontroller components, to record and playback the received audio by a radio with an ATX-2000A plugged to this radio. Choosing the highest possible and the least obstructed location of the radio & the ATX-2000A will result into a wide extended range of radio users on the same channel. The ATX-2000A is fully automatic and has very low power consumption which results in an autonomy of days & even months. The unit goes on "sleep" mode on standby operation that results into a more long lasting operating time. The ATX-2000A features a "roger beep" an audio "stamp" to let the radio users listening on the same channel know that the audio was repeated.

Le ATX-2000A est un relais simplex contrôlé par microprocesseur. Il se connecte sur toute radio (walky-talky) muni d’un connecteur pour micro/haut-parleur extérieur. Il augmente ainsi la portée de cette radio par la technique du perroquet. La mémoire électronique enregistre et reproduit le message reçu par la radio auquel il est branché.

L’installation de la radio-relai à un endroit culminant et dégagé, augmente de beaucoup la portée vers toutes les radios opérant sur le même canal. Le ATX-2000A est complètement automatique et bénéficie d’une consommation très faible qui permet une autonomie de plusieurs semaines voir des mois. Il se met en mode « veille » en cas d’absence de trafic, augmentant ainsi encore l’autonomie. La ATX-2000A dispose d’un « Roger Beep » ou témoin auditif, qui indique au destinataire que le message qu’il reçoit a été relayé.

OTTO’s Wireless Ear Receivers make your OTTO Two and Three Wire kits perfectly covert. The Wireless Ear Receiver fits securely in your ear canal. It is comfortable and almost invisible. Used in conjunction with either the OTTO Flat Pack Inductor or Neck Loop style Inductor to create the invisible inductive field that transmits the radio’s sound to the Wireless Ear Receiver. The Ear Receiver is available in conventional or squelched models. The squelch technology minimizes electric field interference making the unit silent in the absence of incoming transmission. All models are shipped as a kit including carrying pouch, four A10 batteries, five wax filters, and one wax filter tool.
